Prompt Templates
Prompt templates are reusable programs for your AI. Instead of writing the same instructions every time, a template defines the goal, gathers the right context from your system, and structures how the AI responds. Think of them as saved approaches to recurring tasks.
How it works
Pick or create a template
Browse the built-in catalog, or describe what you need and the AI builds one for you.
Template gathers context
Each template defines what it needs — your goals, recent tasks, calendar events — and pulls it from your system automatically.
AI executes with structure
Instead of a freeform response, the AI follows the template's defined approach, requirements, and output format.
Template Catalog
When you open a new conversation, the catalog surfaces templates relevant to you right now — based on your current data, time of day, and what needs attention. Categories include planning, tasks, projects & goals, and thinking.
Slash Commands
/Type / in any conversation to open the action palette. Templates are ranked by relevance to your current conversation context, so the most useful ones surface first.
Prompt Builder
Describe what you want in plain language, and the AI generates a structured template for you. You get a live preview as it builds — edit the template directly or refine it through conversation. Save it and it becomes available in your catalog and slash palette.
Parameters
Templates can define parameters that are automatically resolved from your system — like your current goals, today's tasks, or a specific project. If something can't be resolved automatically, the AI asks you. This means the same template adapts to different situations without editing.
Scope
Each template has a scope that controls where it appears. Catalog templates show up in the empty-state suggestions. Action templates appear in the slash palette. Some appear in both.
Workflow Integration
Templates can be used as steps in workflows — so an automated sequence can invoke a template with specific parameters, combining structured AI reasoning with automated execution.
Example Templates
Weekly Planner
Reviews your goals, overdue tasks, and calendar for the week — then builds a day-by-day action plan optimized for your energy patterns.
Goal Breakdown
Takes a goal and breaks it into projects, milestones, and actionable tasks with dependencies and timeline estimates.
Daily Review
Summarizes what you accomplished today, what moved forward, what's still pending, and suggests priorities for tomorrow.
Decision Framework
Structures a decision by analyzing options against your goals, constraints, and past patterns — then recommends an approach.
Build your own
You can create personal templates through the Prompt Builder — just describe what you need and the AI generates a structured template. Your templates appear alongside the built-in ones in the catalog and slash palette.
