Today

The Today view is your daily landing page — everything relevant to your day, in one place. It's where you start each morning, check in throughout the day, and review before you close out.

What you see

The Today view is organized top-to-bottom in the order you need it. Date navigation sits at the very top, followed by a pulse bar with your key metrics. An activity banner appears when relevant, then followed by your daily note, insights, goals, and tasks — each in a collapsible section. At the bottom, a two-column day view shows your calendar events, time blocks, and logged activities on a time grid.

Sections

Date Navigation

The header shows the current date and lets you navigate between days, weeks, months, and years. Move forward and backward to review past days or plan ahead.

Pulse Bar

A row of key metrics at the top of every day — mood, energy, stress, productivity, and task completion rate. Each metric is color-coded and shows a 7-day sparkline so you can spot trends at a glance. This gives you an instant read on how things are going before you scroll any further.

Activity Banner

When a time block or event is about to start (within 15 minutes) or currently active, a banner appears at the top prompting you to start, skip, or stop the activity. If you start it, a live timer counts up. The activity auto-ends when the linked time block or event finishes, so you get accurate duration tracking without manual logging.

Daily Note

A rich text editor for free-form writing about your day — journal entries, reflections, meeting takeaways, quick thoughts. Type @ to mention any resource in your system (a task, goal, person, book) and create a live link. Notes auto-save as you type, support templates, and carry their full version history.

Today's Insights

A feed of AI-generated observations specific to your day — patterns it noticed, things that need attention, or suggestions based on your recent data. Each insight can be opened as a conversation with your AI for a deeper discussion. New insights are marked with an unread badge so you know what's fresh.

Goals

All goals relevant to today, each with a progress ring showing how far along you are. Metric goals (like "exercise ≥ 30min") update automatically as you log activities. Milestone goals show completion percentage. Active streaks are highlighted with a flame icon and count, and the progress bar is color-coded — green when safe, amber when close, red when over a limit.

Tasks

Tasks due today with their status, project, area, and due date. Each task shows a completion icon that changes by status — todo, in progress, blocked, or done. Overdue items are highlighted in red. A summary badge shows your completion rate (e.g., "4/7 completed"). Click any task to add notes or open its detail view alongside.

Day View

The bottom of the Today view shows a two-column time grid — your schedule on the left and your activities on the right, aligned hour by hour. This lets you see what was planned versus what actually happened.

Schedule

Calendar events, time blocks, and reminders rendered on a vertical time grid. A red line marks the current time. Time blocks show as colored backgrounds with attendance indicators — completed, in progress, skipped, or missed. Events overlay as positioned blocks, with overlapping ones automatically arranged side by side. Reminders appear as amber badges at their scheduled times. Click any item to add notes or edit it.

Activities

Logged activities aligned on the same time grid. Duration-based activities (like a 45-minute workout) span their full time range. Point-in-time activities (like taking a vitamin) appear as dots at the logged time. This gives you a visual record of how you actually spent your day.

Activity Timeline

Timeline View

An alternative to the Day View — a chronological list of everything that happened during the period. Notes, tasks completed, activities logged, check-ins, and other events appear in order with timestamps. Toggle between the Day View and Timeline View using the view switcher at the top of the page.

Beyond Today

The same view works at week, month, and year levels. Navigate between periods to see aggregated metrics, notes, and a breakdown of child periods (days within a week, weeks within a month). Each child period shows a mini pulse bar and task completion summary, so you can scan an entire week or month at once.

Your daily operating system

Today brings everything together — what you planned, what you did, how you felt, and what your AI noticed. Instead of switching between a calendar, a task manager, a journal, and a habit tracker, you see it all on one surface. The more you use it, the richer the picture gets.
