Files
Files are where your system's outputs and attachments live — images, documents, exports, dashboards, and anything else you upload or your AI generates. They're stored securely in your private environment and accessible from anywhere in the workspace.
What You See
The Files view shows your files in a folder view or grid view. Filter by source — uploads, AI-generated, sandbox, or app data — and search by filename. Select a file to open the file viewer, which renders previews inline: images with zoom, HTML as live pages, code with syntax highlighting, and PDFs embedded. Text files can be edited directly in a built-in code editor.
Key Features
Upload Anything
Upload files directly — images, PDFs, CSVs, documents, or any file type. Drag and drop or use the upload button. Files are stored securely in your private environment.
AI & Code Generated
Your AI creates files as it works — HTML dashboards, CSV exports, reports, charts, and more. Functions and apps also generate files. Everything lands in one place.
Inline Preview
Preview files without leaving the workspace. Images render with zoom and pan, HTML files run in an interactive iframe, code files get syntax highlighting, and PDFs embed inline.
Inline Editing
Edit text-based files directly in the workspace with a full code editor. Make quick changes to code, markdown, CSV, or config files without downloading.
Folder & Grid Views
Browse files in a folder hierarchy or switch to a grid view for visual scanning. Breadcrumb navigation lets you drill into nested folders and back out quickly.
Filter by Source
Filter files by how they were created — uploads, AI-generated, sandbox outputs, or app data. Sort by recent, filename, or size to find what you need fast.
Searchable
Search across all your files by name. Files also surface in Smart Search results, so you can find that export or screenshot from weeks ago without browsing.
Download & Publish
Download any file to your device. Text-based files can also be published to your public site — great for sharing reports, dashboards, or documentation.
Connections
Files connect to the rest of your system through links and references, so they always have context.
Link files to notes for context — attach a PDF to meeting notes, or an image to a research note. Linked files appear in the note's references.
Attach files to projects so deliverables, assets, and reference docs stay with the work they belong to.
Link files to tasks — a screenshot for a bug report, a spec document for implementation, or an export as a deliverable.
Files generated during AI conversations are automatically associated with that chat. Upload files in chat and the AI can read and work with them.
Everything your system creates, in one place
Files are the tangible outputs of your workspace — the charts your AI built, the exports your functions generated, the documents you uploaded. Browse, preview, edit, and link them to any resource so nothing gets lost.
