Notes
Notes are a flexible surface for capturing your thoughts — journal entries, meeting notes, ideas, research, periodic reviews. Write freely and connect your notes to everything else in your system.
What you see
Notes use a master-detail layout. A searchable list of notes sits on the left — filterable by tag, date, or linked resource. Select any note and the full editor opens on the right. The editor is a rich text block editor supporting headings, lists, code blocks, images, and more. You can write, link, and organize without leaving the view.

Reusable Templates
Create templates for recurring note types — weekly reviews, meeting agendas, project kickoffs. Start from a template and fill in the details.
Linked to Any Resource
Connect a note to tasks, goals, projects, bookmarks, or anything else in your system. Links are bidirectional — the linked resource shows the note too.
Daily Notes
One note per day, auto-created when you open Today. Use it as a journal, scratch pad, or daily log. Daily notes appear in the Today view alongside your schedule and tasks.
Tagging
Organize notes with tags for quick filtering and discovery. Tags work across all your resources, so you can pull up everything related to a topic in one search.
Revisions
Notes have a full revision system so you never lose work. Revisions are created automatically when the AI edits a note (before and after snapshots) and manually when you save a checkpoint. Auto-save doesn't create revisions — only deliberate saves and AI edits do, so your history stays clean.
Manual Checkpoints
Click "Save Version" to create a named checkpoint at any point. Useful before major edits or when you want to bookmark a known-good state.
AI Revision Tracking
When the AI edits a note, before and after snapshots are created automatically. AI revisions are badged with a distinct marker so you can see exactly what the AI changed.
Diff View
Compare any two revisions with a line-level diff — unified or side-by-side. Color-coded additions and deletions with line numbers and change stats.
Restore
Revert a note to any previous revision with one click. The system snapshots the current state before restoring, so you can always undo a restore.
Merge Revisions
Select multiple revisions and merge them in a block-by-block editor. Pick content from any revision, resolve conflicts, and preview the result before saving.
Revision Timeline
Browse all revisions in a timeline panel — newest first. Each entry shows its revision number, source (manual or AI), timestamp, and optional summary.
Connections
Notes can be linked to tasks, goals, projects, areas, bookmarks, and activities. When you link a note, it appears in the linked resource's detail view too — so context flows both ways. Daily notes automatically appear in the Today view, giving you a built-in journal alongside your schedule and tasks.
